Michael Lenaghan: Tk should have a good set of icons and cursors out of the box. The black & white bitmaps and cursors that are built-in are awful. IMO :-)

Chang LI: A standard way to convert a .gif icon file to base64 and embedded as a tcl script is convenient. May be a resource file is necessary.
