I been using Tcl/Tk for work and pleasure for about 4 years now. I have grown fond of Tcl as a language and have become very spoiled by the simplicity offered by Tk. Most of my professional Tcl/Tk development has involved cross-platform GUI work (MS-Windows, Solaris, HP/UX, and AIX mostly) in one form or another.

As we all know, a professional looking, User friendly GUI is well within the reaches of Tk, but sometimes it takes quite a lot of fiddling to get right - some of which we'd all like to brush under the carpet and pretend didn't exist.

Pay no attention to the man behind to curtain... ;^)

Anyway, I'm very enthused about the idea of giving Tk a facelift and look forward to contributing in any way I can.
