Please help us by contributing any way that you can! Suggestions, code, problem reports are always appreciated. Do however keep in mind the focus here, as described in the About this Site and Background and Rationale pages.

Having said that, moving forward will often require some concerted effort in specific areas. We'll keep this page current so that people can always find out where their contributions would be most helpful.

Some specific things that need working on at the moment:

• Read the Methodology page. Then suggest some Key Examples that we could use. We really need this soon to move forward.
• need people to start going through the New Widgets, and identify candidates
• need feedback on megawidget framework.. what alternatives should be considered?
• see Deliverables for more specifics

Hint: also try searching for "Action Items" via the "Find Pages" box at right.

• Have some Good Examples? Post them and suggest ways where Tk makes certain things harder.
• Know any High Profile Tk Applications?

Tasks that will need people in the future (just starting this list):

• Widget Tour Update - Steve Simmons has volunteered to coordinate
• people to take screenshots of key examples on different platforms
• people to evaluate/critique current state of Tk w.r.t. our key examples
• one or more people to coordinate building the add-on (Starkit?) that will contain our changes for the initial version (option changes, add-on widgets, etc.)
• contact stakeholders in the other language communities that use Tk (e.g. Perl, Python) and get them involved - Steve Simmons again has started doing this
